Nashville, TN (May 30, 2025)
After years of performing backup vocals with Grammy award-winning artist Lauren Daigle and ministering through powerful collaborations with Maverick City Music and global worship tours, Lizzie Morgan is stepping into the spotlight with the announcement of her debut as a solo artist. Her first full-length project, Not My Will, a live worship album, is set to release August 22 via Provident Entertainment. The lead single, “Let the Alabaster Break,” arrives today, Friday, May 30, offering a stunning preview of what’s to come.
Recorded live in Nashville with a room full of Morgan’s close friends and worshippers, Not My Will showcases Morgan’s lifelong love for worship, drawing from her deep family history in the church and her youthful outlook. The album serves as a bridge between generations, honoring the richness of traditional worship while embracing the heart of the modern worshipper.
“This album is incredibly personal, filled with songs that reflect my journey with the Lord and the many ways He’s carried me through different seasons of life,” shares Morgan. “I’m so thankful to Jason Ingram and Rob Elmore for their brilliant production and for helping bring this vision to life. I’m also deeply grateful to the many friends who co-wrote these songs with me who poured their hearts into every lyric and melody. This has truly been a labor of love, faith, and worship.”
In addition to her strong roster of co-writers, including Jason Ingram, Jonathan Stamper, Naomi Raine and Stephen and Lori Ward, Not My Will features vocal collaborations with Provident label-mate Seph Schlueter, as well as past creative partners Ryan Ofei and Jonathan Stamper, blending diverse voices into a cohesive worship experience.
Her new single, “Let the Alabaster Break,” embodies the album’s heart for raw, reverent worship.
Morgan shares. “There’s something both sacred and nostalgic about this song; it moves me every time I hear it. My prayer is that, as people listen, they’re reminded of the beauty and power in fully pouring themselves out at the feet of Jesus. There’s truly nothing more important we’ll ever do in this life than that.”
As a Nashville-based singer-songwriter and worship leader, Morgan has been deeply rooted in ministry since childhood. She grew up at Celebration of Life Church in Hendersonville, TN, founded by her grandparents, where she first learned to sing and lead worship.
Morgan’s professional music career began in 2017 when she started singing background vocals for 2X GRAMMY-winning artist Lauren Daigle. Between tours, she honed her songwriting skills with Maverick City Music, Seasons Collective, and in WILDER, a worship duo with songwriter Stefan Cashwell whose song “Heaven’s Secrets” surpassed one million streams in its first year. Through those collaborative experiences, Morgan was invited to join Maverick City Music’s Kingdom Tour in 2022, performing across the U.S. and appearing on landmark projects such as Tribl Nights Atlanta, A Very Maverick Christmas, and Kingdom Book One.
While continuing to lead worship at both her home church in Hendersonville, TN and at Redemption Church in San Jose, CA, Morgan began developing her solo artistry. Signing with Provident Entertainment, she released her debut single, “Maybe The Miracle,” last year, and joined Matt Maher on his Spring 2024 tour, reaching new audiences across the country.
With the release of Not My Will, Lizzie Morgan marks her arrival as a solo artist with a clear calling: to lead people into God’s presence with authenticity, passion, and deep-rooted faith.
