Michael W. Smith Releases New Single ‘Kingdom Come’

NASHVILLE, Tenn.
Multi-platinum, GRAMMY® Award-winning artist Michael W. Smith releases his anthemic new single, “Kingdom Come,” today. The track marks the third release from his highly anticipated upcoming studio project, following the momentum of “Arms Around The Sun” and “Your Love Is a Flood.”

Co-written with Michael Olson and produced by Smith alongside Tedd T., “Kingdom Come” is both a uniquely familiar anthem and a fresh sonic declaration. Featuring classic MWS synths and a chorus built to be shouted — “Let the kingdom come!” — the song feels brand new yet instantly recognizable.

“I’ve always wanted to write a song about the words I pray every day: ‘Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven,’” says Smith. “This song captures that prayer and turns it into a call for heaven to meet earth.”

With its driving energy and timeless worshipful spirit, “Kingdom Come” continues the powerful narrative arc of Smith’s new project, a return to the roots of his faith and artistry, crafted for every generation of listener.

Produced with the same excellence that has defined his four-decade career, “Kingdom Come” follows the critical acclaim of “Your Love Is a Flood,” which drew praise for its fresh yet classic sound and poignant message of God’s overwhelming love. Together with the first single “Arms Around The Sun,” these releases showcase a project rich with reverence, honesty, and passion.

This weekend, Michael W. Smith will bring these new songs alongside timeless favorites to audiences worldwide starting the fall leg of the Beyond the Far Horizon Tour. Following that, he’ll embark on his beloved annual Christmas Tour, this year joined by longtime friends and legends Amy Grant and CeCe Winans. In addition, Smith will perform a series of solo Christmas dates featuring Riley Clemmons in Florida, along with special hometown shows in Nashville.
